Last week I had the pleasure of meeting many of you in person at the 12th Annual ADDA Conference in Orlando, Florida. Jen and I both had a great time. Everyone was so friendly! I couldn't believe the outpouring of camaraderie among total strangers. We couldn't walk ten yards without someone stopping us to chat. I'd have to say that's the biggest thing I learned about ADDers...they're all people-people.
I'll be posting more about the conference throughout the week. I'm too busy catching up on my regular life (Missing cars! Angry contractors! And much, much more!) to blog my brains out today.
I do have to say that despite the great conference, the only thing I like about Orlando is Epcot's Universe of Energy ride, during which I survived a ten minute power outage in 1989, frozen in darkness among the animatronic dinosaurs. (In 1996 it re-opened as Ellen's Energy Adventure!, complete with animatronic Ellen Degeneres.) We didn't make it to any theme parks while we were down there, but I like to reminisce.
